About Us

Helping children learn, grow, have fun, and make new friends!

Gingerbread House Early Learning Center is a non-profit, private, state-licensed center dedicated to offering low-cost and high-quality child care and preschool education to children.

We want to be able to give all children the opportunity to get the best start in life regardless of their race, religion, sex, or economic background.

Located at 318 Girault Ave on the campus of Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado, we teach children from six weeks to six years old.

Our goal is to help children see how learning can be a fun and exciting experience. We want to help the children in our care develop a positive attitude towards learning so they can do their best, be prepared for a successful future, and become confident in a classroom environment.

At Gingerbread House Early Learning Center we introduce children to a creative curriculum that helps them learn about a variety of subjects such as math, science, literacy, and music. Our lessons are fun and exciting to help engage children and help develop their learning abilities.

All our programs are built with a strong foundation of literacy and our teachers encourage children to read and write through a variety of fun activities.

If you’d like to give your child the best possible start in life then we’d love to help by teaching them at our learning center.
